Ascend Medical Wellness Concierge wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
How we check
This site is self-assessed. We test it with automated tools (axe-core, run in desktop and mobile browsers and with reduced motion enabled) and with manual checks: keyboard-only navigation, heading and landmark structure, form labels, image descriptions, focus visibility, and text contrast measured against the actual pixels behind the text. We re-run these checks when the site changes.
What you can adjust
The “Accessibility options” button in the bottom-right corner of every page lets you make text larger (three sizes), switch to a high-contrast display, underline all links, and pause motion. These settings are saved only in your browser on this device; nothing is sent to us or to any third party. The site also has a separate “Reduce motion” control (a small icon in the bottom-left corner on desktop, and in the footer) that turns off animations and the moving hero; the two controls share one setting.
Known limitations
Some decorative text placed over photographs may fall below our contrast target at certain scroll positions. Content on third-party sites we link to may not meet the same standard.
