03 — The approach

Mind, body, and environment.

Ascend offers a unique and compassionate perspective on substance use disorder treatment, emphasizing a truly holistic understanding of the individual.

Our approach is rooted in the belief that substance use disorder is often a response to unresolved trauma and emotional pain incurred throughout our childhood and adult life. Traditional models often fall short by focusing solely on the symptoms rather than addressing the underlying causes.

01

Trauma-informed

A compassionate, trauma-informed approach that recognizes the profound impact of early life experiences on an individual's vulnerability to substance use disorders.

02

Mind · body · environment

We understand the importance of the connection between mind, body, and environment — a treatment model that integrates therapeutic modalities and emotional healing.

03

Evidence-based & holistic

A combination of evidence-based treatments, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing support — addressing not only the physical aspects of addiction but the emotional, psychological, and social factors beneath it.

By addressing the root causes of substance use disorders we aim to empower individuals to ascend into lasting recovery.

04 — What care includes

Detox is only the first step.

Recognizing the distinct detox requirements of each person, our skilled medical professionals craft personalized plans to safeguard your well-being throughout the journey.

01
Phase 01

Assessment

  • Initial medical assessment and substance use evaluation
02
Phase 02

Detox at home

  • On-site nurse and daily physician oversight
  • Evidence-based medication protocols
  • 24/7 monitoring for withdrawal symptoms
  • Nutritional support and holistic adjunct therapies

All detoxifications are monitored by registered nurses on site in your home.

03
Phase 03

Continuity of care

  • Care coordination for ongoing therapy or outpatient support
  • Concierge outpatient psychiatry or therapy
  • Executive coaching with addiction-informed specialists
  • Functional nutrition, movement therapy, and wellness planning
  • Telehealth or in-person MAT follow-ups as needed

We will arrange follow up care including but not limited to therapy sessions, community support, if desired and ongoing medical concierge services as requested.

However, at-home detox is not suitable for everyone. Individuals with severe medical complications, high risk withdrawal profiles, or co-occurring psychiatric conditions may require a higher level of care. That's why a thorough screening is non-negotiable.
